Off with their reds!

.Daybreakers.

Preparing to write a blog isn't the easiest thing I've ever done. I sit down, start typing, and then stop to think who really wants to read this? Well, if there is someone, I hope they enjoy. I saw Daybreakers yesterday, after quite a few not-so-great reviews from friends. However, regardless of ratings I adore movies, and plan to watch them even if they are "bad". Let me start by saying I absolutely loved the movie. The plot was well done, acting wasn't bad, and they even had a few parts that made me jump. One complaint I'd heard was how the vampires die, in explosive, bloody messes. I rather enjoyed that! It did make the movie fun to watch.

As for the Variety's opinion, "Take THE MATRIX and 28 DAYS LATER and you've got DAYBREAKERS..." I'd say that's greatly inaccurate, and if anyone wants to see the movie based on that quote they will be disappointed. I don't see how The Matrix comes in to play anywhere in this film, the plot, the look - nothing screams "red pill blue pill" to me.

.Throwback.

If you have the chance to pick up the Retro Mt. Dew, and you happen to be a fan of the current stuff, dew it! Duke found it roaming the isles at Walmart and completely freaked out over the stuff. We'd never tasted it before but I wasn't against trying. [I personally love diet mt dew and code red] What's awesome? You know that after taste feeling you get when you drink soda? Apparently not everyone knows exactly what I mean, but, you can feel the difference. Taste? Eh, not so much. But feel for sure. I've always liked Mt. Dew because of how smoothly it goes down anyway, they really should sell it like this continually.

.Closet.

I've realized Teal and gray have conquered my closet! Not that it's a bad thing, I do prefer the colors, especially gray - with everything! However, I'm looking for more reds possibly? I don't pay much attention to actual fashion - what's in, what's out. I mean, UGG boots are still everywhere. Fashionable foot ware that looks like cankles?! I'll pass. I've never bought into ridiculous fashion, I'm willing to make a sacrifice here and there, but nothing to compromise my comfort, nor will I buy into something because a celebrity is sporting it.

Sadly, being plus size leaves little to look up to in the fashion world, sensibly speaking. So I'm left with one of my favorite people who just happens to be thin (I won't judge lol) and that's Hillary Duff. If you're a hater, you clearly have issues. She looks beautiful casual, and dressed up. She has been known to wear things I wouldn't think of bothering with, but generally she's pretty down to earth with her style, I can live with that. Another female I rather enjoy watching is Carrie Underwood. Blondes, I know. I'm such a traitor lol.

A woman I'd aspire to look like is Bridget Regan, she's not as well known as some, but she plays Kahlan from Legend of the Seeker. I absolutely adore her! Dark hair, blue eyes, nice style, and beautiful smile. She's not in the tabloids, going crazy, or getting tons of work done. Bridget is naturally beautiful and a fantastic actress, even her Character is AWESOME! Ohhh, love :]

I'd also like to encourage anyone who hasn't seen legend of the seeker to check out the series. It's fantasy based, but ultimately fun, easy to follow, and romantic. I got hooked on it late night from my graveyard shift, every saturday night it'd come on one of the few channels my client gets and I'd just sit in awe. I love fantasy, particularly writing. I even run my own Text Based role playing game, it's slow going, but I can't wait to see how it evolves.

Speaking of which, I need to hop over and update a few things and encourage more gaming. So while I'm off to be a dork, I hope anyone reading got something from it. I don't really bother with putting much from my personal life in this blog, just random ramblings, hope it's enough!
